Privacy policy
BookMo — the BookMo browser extension (Chrome, Firefox, Safari) and the BookMo website. Last updated 27 October 2026.
What BookMo does
BookMo saves the web pages you choose to bookmark into your BookMo library, with a confidentiality level and topic tags, and lets you browse and classify them on the BookMo website.
What the extension sends, and when
Only when you act — open the popup, save a page, or start an import — and only to your BookMo service at bookmo.oidc.az.morten.com.tr:
- The page you open BookMo on: its address (URL), title and meta description — when you open the popup (to preview its level and tags) and when you save it. The extension never reads or sends the rest of the page, and never sends anything for pages you do not open BookMo on. A preview is not stored: it is kept in memory for up to 10 minutes so that saving the same page reuses it, then dropped.
- Bookmarks you choose to import: their address, title, date and folder name. The extension asks for access to your bookmarks only when you start an import, and removes them from your browser only if you ask it to, after downloading a backup.
- Your sign-in: you sign in on BookMo's sign-in page (
auth.oidc.az.morten.com.tr), with your email address and password; the extension keeps the resulting session token in the browser's extension storage and sends it with each request so BookMo knows whose library it is.
What BookMo stores
Your bookmarks (address, title, description, level, tags, dates) and your account's email address and sign-in identifier, on the BookMo service. Each person's bookmarks are kept separately and are only returned to that person.
AI classification
If you connect BookMo to your GPU Pool account, BookMo sends the title, address and description of a page you save to the decision model you chose, through GPU Pool, to suggest its level and tags. The EV decision models (EV/clef, EV/laya) run on EVREN LLM API, a model service in Türkiye, with your own Evren key. This uses your own GPU Pool connection and only happens for pages you open BookMo on (the preview), save, or ask to classify. Without a connection, nothing is sent to a model and you set levels and tags yourself.
What BookMo does not do
- It does not sell your data or share it with advertisers or other third parties. The one exception is the AI classification above, and only once you connect it yourself.
- It does not use your data for anything other than your bookmark library and its classification.
- It does not track your browsing, and it does not run remote code.
Your control
- Edit or delete any bookmark on the BookMo website.
- Download all your bookmarks (JSON, or a bookmarks file any browser can import) under Settings → Your data.
- Delete your account under Settings → Delete your account on the website, or with Delete your account in the extension's popup: your bookmarks, tags and profile are erased at once, and your sign-in account too when only BookMo uses it. A single deleted bookmark is kept as a hidden record until you delete your account.
- Disconnect AI classification on GPU Pool at any time.
- Sign out in the extension or on the website; uninstalling the extension removes what it stored in your browser.
