Import
Bring the bookmarks you already have into BookMo. Duplicates are never created: an address already in your library is reported as "already in BookMo".
From a bookmarks file
Every browser can save its bookmarks as an HTML file. Export it, then choose it here.
How to export your bookmarks
- Chrome / Edge: menu ⋮ → Bookmarks and lists → Bookmark manager → ⋮ (top right) → Export bookmarks.
- Firefox: menu ☰ → Bookmarks → Manage bookmarks → Import and Backup → Export Bookmarks to HTML.
- Safari: File → Export → Bookmarks…
Imported bookmarks are saved unclassified and appear under Needs review, where you can set levels and tags or use "Classify with AI".
Straight from your browser, with the extension
With the BookMo extension in Chrome or Firefox, open its popup and choose Import browser bookmarks (also in the extension's settings). It reads your bookmarks directly, imports them the same way, and can then remove them from the browser — after downloading a backup. Safari does not let extensions read bookmarks; use a file there.

Browser extension
Save pages from Chrome, Firefox or Safari with the BookMo extension: click its icon, check the level and tags, save. Sign in once with the code it shows. In Chrome and Firefox its popup also imports your browser's bookmarks.
Install it from your browser's store: Chrome Web Store, Firefox Add-ons, or the Mac App Store for Safari.
Your data
The HTML file can be imported back into any browser. What BookMo stores and sends: privacy policy.
Delete your account
Deletes every bookmark, tag and setting BookMo holds for you, at once and for good. Download your data above first if you want to keep it.
Your sign-in account is removed too when only BookMo uses it. If you also use GPU Pool or another app with the same sign-in, that account stays and only BookMo's data goes.
